Does anyone know if the expiry date for the Virgin Atlantic credit card vouchers (241/upgrade) is book by, or do you need to complete travel by this date?

I thought the outbound had to be flown by the expiry date, like the BAPP 241?
Officially that may be the case however I know in practice it’s book by. Virgin, if they want to be, are much more flexible with these vouchers.
Yep, I was told it was book by when I called a couple of weeks ago – I queried it and the agent advised this was definitely the case.
I’m about to use mine for some travel next year, after the voucher expiry date – I will report back if any issues.Good to know. Believe it or not I amassed so many vouchers of different types during the pandemic, I am actually going to be hard pressed to use our Virgin one which expires in April 2024!

Effectively that means you’ve got until Feb/Mar ‘25 to travel though NL. Plenty of time!
