    Hi,

    I’ve had the Rewards+ card for 3 months now and built up a few thousand points – but none of them are showing on/transferring to my Virgin Atlantic account or Virgin Red account. Virgin Money say its properly linked and the points are going, Virgin Atlantic say the card isn’t linked. I must have spoken to Virgin 7 or 8 times now – it is literally a case of computer says no. Its very frustrating given i’ve paid £160 for the privilege.

    Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you get it resolved?

    Two things to check:

    (1) Is the name on your Flying Club account exactly the same as it is on your credit card account? If not, it is easiest to change the Flying Club account, which you can do by phone. Double check spelling, capitalisation and any punctuation within your name.

    (2) Are you sure the VSFC number is correct?

    If both are already checked, your next approach is probably to raise a formal complaint to Virgin Money on the basis that they are awarding you the points. You could, I suppose, also ask Virgin Red to see if they can spot any issue, but they might not want to get involved.

    I had same issue. One of my accounts held my middle name on file – one didnt. As silly as it sounds.

    Hi, thanks for all your comments. I mentioned the middle name thing to Virgin Money a few weeks ago and they wanted my passport etc. Then when I rang again yesterday, they removed my middle name on the spot. Fingers crossed this fixes it!! Thanks again!
