I’m planning a big round the world trip for early 2026 and the final leg will be a US west coast Virgin Upper Class departure using a reward voucher, we have flexibility with airports.
We’d really rather not have the ‘coffin’ seat with the views of your neighbours feet, are there any aircraft types that have the standard sating plan, i.e. the 350? I also realise that all airlines are prone to a change of aircraft but I’d like to do all I can to avoid them.
LAX on VS7/8 has been an A350 for a long time now. SFO chops and changes all the time, I booked on an A350 then it was changed to the 789 coffin class. SEA was a 789 now seems to be the A339 neo for the main part but depends on what time of year you are travelling. A risk wherever as they can swap in and out but the safest bet is LAX on VS7/8
