Launching on 29 March 2026, we’re flying direct from London Heathrow (LHR) to Seoul Incheon (ICN) every day. It’s our first-ever South Korean service, giving UK businesses an easy connection to one of Asia’s most powerful economies.
Lets see how long it lasts, or even if it starts LOL

Yes, at least Virgin has given itself the best part of a year to add Seoul to its list of cancelled routes.
It’s with B789 coffin J class seats though.
Finally! Will this replace the Asiana flight or will it be extra LHR-ICN capacity?
Amazing! Have a companion voucher due to expire in May 2026. Hopefully I can book, and then await rebooking with Korean in the event they do cancel it!

Shai Weiss’s post said it offered the “opportunity” to fly there on the 787. I reread it a couple of times trying to find “refurbished” hidden there to make it an opportunity. I mean I don’t hate hate them because I’m a tiny person, but certainly not volunteering to do a 14 hour flight in them when there are other options.
I imagine the points price will be stratospheric if planning reasonably in advance? I was looking forward to a trip to Seoul with our last credit card voucher, ah, well.

They are probably gambling on Russia overflying rights being restored by then, else as you say likely cancelled before launch
Aren’t they required to fly this route as part of the merger of the two Korean airlines?
