The Flying Club site isn’t great and has a lot of circular references, but eventually says to call them to transfer points to Hilton – 0344 209 2722

It behaves like it is a sweep once or twice a month, so the timescales nay be different depending on when the next sweep is. Plan on 2wks being typical and you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Also note that it has to be in multiples of 10000.
If you ask for something different they probably will process it… And it won’t work and you’ll be left waiting and waiting.

Hilton have another of their regular 100% buy points bonuses running. In my case I need 120,000 more Hilton for a hotel redemption, which is

    £ 495 to buy
    or
    60,000 Amex membership rewards
    or
    80,000 Virgin miles

Given I have no Virgin redemptions planned I may transfer the Virgin miles, even though this is the worst value using Rob’s standard valuations. Any option is better than the advance purchase rate at the hotel I am looking at. I think I am mentally “marking down” Virgin miles since dynamic pricing went in, because of a combination of the uncertainty of future value due to dynamic rewards pricing, the Virgin route network being so US-focussed, and partner award availability not showing for any future travel I want to book.
