last part of my annoying phone call – I knew I had a voucher due to run out soon but wasnt sure when it had been extended to
Apparently, I have 3 vouchers (good news at last) which expire in Nov, Dec and Feb next year
The first is a £500 upgrade voucher, the second a standard 241/upgrade and the third an upgrade voucher.
No idea where 2 of those came from.
I asked how to use the first one and she explained that I could purchase an upgrade but claim £500 back – she thought that it still needed reward seat availability in the higher class and wasnt sure if it could be applied across seats or if it could be used for taxes and charges or combined with another voucher. There are no online details about the terms and conditions and she couldnt send me a set
    Anyone used a £500 upgrade voucher ?

I wonder if the £500 upgrade voucher is actually “an upgrade voucher for spending £500″… do the expiry dates tally with this article / how long you’ve held the card etc?

Thanks thats interesting – yes I did have a reward+ card then although I have never bought a virgin ticket I did buy some AF tickets for my kids
So this might just be an upgrade voucher – shame neither of the Virign staff I spoke to understood this

Yes, I’ve had and redeemed this voucher, likewise receiving similar confusion. It’s an award upgrade voucher for 1 return or x 2 one ways to the next cabin up, ie. pay premium economy miles for Upper. It was earned for spending £500+ with Virgin Atlantic around November 2020.
