Morning all, apologies if this has already been asked but couldn’t find it in the search results. I’m looking to book VS8009 in Business operated by Westjet from LHR to YYC and was wondering if this would include the use of the Virgin Upper Class Wing and/or Clubhouse?
You need to check in with WestJet not the wing.
I’m pretty sure you’ll need to use whatever lounge WestJet use too, as the clubhouse is for “Upper Class” passengers, which technically you are not. If on a codeshare in the same terminal I’d definitely ask at the door though.
There is nothing on the VS website I can find about Westjet flights and access to the CH and the wording is pretty clear that it’s when flying on VS ans DL only.
They aren’t even listed as an airline even and / or burn partner on the partner pages!
If you ware VS gold then it might just be possible but that’s the only way I think you could get in but even then I’d say it was a slim chance.
It look s like the use the No 1 lounge.
British Airways specifically wouldn’t let you do this, not sure about Virgin. WestJet probably has a deal with No1.
