Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Hilton Honors Waldorf Ras Al Khaimah – all rooms with balconies?

Might be a silly question but do all the room types have a balcony at this hotel, specifically the Two Queen Beds Deluxe Room.
The room photos on the Hilton app and website appear to show a balcony bit doesn’t list it under room details whereas all the other room types have it listed as additional feature.

I’m Hilton Diamond so hoping for an upgrade on arrival anyway but obviously won’t be guaranteed.

All the rooms I recall have balconies. However I wouldn’t worry, I’ve done Waldorf RAK half a dozen times, always booked an entry room (Deluxe), and as Hilton Diamond have always been given a suite with at least one balcony, sometimes ABSOLUTELY HUGE! Keep an eye on your Hilton account from about a week before as this hotel will usually show your upgrade in the app, however fear not, in my experience they will ring you 24hrs before you arrive to ascertain and accommodate your arrival time and see if you are happy with the room offered. You’ll get breakfast too of course, (Golds as well here) – and very nice it is too.

If you don’t get a suite I’ll be astonished.

    Proper hotel

*be prepared for arrival, fabulous and impressive, and quite overwhelming the first time (but so accommodating).

    Enjoy

Thanks. That’s good to hear, we’ve been meaning to visit this hotel for sometime.
Hoping they’re as generous as the Conrad Dubai – nice suite upgrade from our last visit over there.

Actually, have done Conrad Dubai half a dozen times as well lol, I really like the hotel and will be back, but for whatever reason I have ALWAYS had to get into a needless debate at reception to get a “proper” upgrade (I know its a busier hotel given the WTC across the road, but…).
Anyway, never had that problem at Waldorf RAK, you’ll be fine, they will even upgrade your upgrade on arrival if you are nice!

Same here actually. They were insisting that the hotel was full due to some last minute conference but they gave in eventually.
Also, they had no quibbles in letting my mum (who was staying in another hotel) access the exec lounge with us.
Really well looked after here as a Diamond member. And location is perfect for getting out and about.
