Hey everyone, due to some issues with Barclays we were not able to maximise spending in last 6 weeks (very low credit limit which we managed to get fixed now last Friday). Also they started counting the 3 month period to trigger the bonus from end March and not from the 15th April when we got the card. So 8 weeks is gone now. We need to still spent around £1500 to by the 29th June.
Any ideas how we can maximise that? Paypal was an option for the odd transaction with Amex. Whats possible with Barclays?
Is there a way to pay off credit cards with Barclays? We just been away on holiday and got some larger chucks pending on other credit cards.

I switched my sky subscription to paying by Mastercard rather than direct debit

This was the most effective change I made with my council tax covered for the year rather than leaving it to monthly direct debits
I have done a couple of pay pal f&f and it posted on Barclaycard avios and got the points (£500)

And posted points paying my amex (took longer for it to track) but worked a dream

Genius – i might use that to help with an AMEX spend
