Weird results when searching for ‘upgrade’ flights?

Looking at options for using my upgrade voucher. I cannot see this on other threads related to the ‘upgrade’ voucher. There are at least couple of ways to get to reward flight search on My Executive Club. When I try to book a dummy flight to Toronto via the list of vouchers I can use on the front page, it doesn’t give any option to select Club World seats. However, when I go through the ‘Spending Avios’ and ‘Reward Flight Search’, it does allow Club World to be selected but then gives a weird price of 48000 Avios plus £4700! Has anyone experienced this or know why this might be the case?

Select your upgrade voucher but pick PE – that will take you to the booking page for CW seats if they are available.
