Hi,
I would like some recommendations for hotels in the west hollywood area. I have gone via Amex FHR and they have offered either the London hotel or the 1 Hotel West Hollywood, I was also looking at the Pendry. I am open to other suggestions though. Thanks
The main consideration in this area is weekend party people and additional costs of parking, if you have a car.
No car, just want to make sure I don’t end up paying 5 star prices for a 3 star experience.
Depends a lot on where exactly you want to be in Hollywood. Personally really like Mama Shelter (Accor) on Selma – not 5 star but great nightlife! Paid parking nearby, also homeless encampments now sadly endemic in LA (but felt safe enough).
We stayed at The London in June, and thought is was really lovely. Excellent service and rooms.
Lovely deck and pool on the roof.
Highly recommended although it obviously comes with a price tag.We stayed at Kimpton La peer in The summer with children. Lovey hotel, great service. One major mess up but they recovered well.
