I’m looking at a 2nt IC stay which shows as £260 pn. If I used the ambassador voucher, whats the actual cash cost?
The price breakdown shows as –
night 1 236
night 2 165
tax 66
resort fee 51
Is the only ambassador voucher saving £165 plus ~£33 (approx taxes for 2nd night)? Would they still charge the resort fee on the second night?
In any case, its not actually gonna be £260 is it?
The terms are that the cost of the room for the 2nd night is £0. Some hotels have been charging 50% of the total for 2 nights, but that’s not the deal, so you should speak up if that happens (to your detriment, obviously!)
You should be able to see the total cost of the 2nd night if you do a search just for that date. That’s what should be deducted from the bill.
It’s unlikely that a resort fee would be waived.
I did eventually use the amb voucher in Boston, but moved it one day earlier as it was better value.
On checkout, the only thing they charged for the second night was the facility fee nonsense and the taxes on the value of the facility fee, they didnt add on the taxes of the value of the second night.
