Before flying to Athens on Sunday I completed the Greek PLF and received confirmation quite quickly. I then submitted it and my NHS Covid pass details to BA Digital Boarding as requested. Emailed acceptance came through without delay.
Now I’m returning, I have completed and received my U.K. PLF-again, without undue delay. I then submitted it, and my same NHS covid pass, to BA Digital Boarding for verification at 18:30 yesterday.
I was due to check in today at 13:45 but hadn’t received confirmation of acceptance. An email from BA followed shortly after stating my NHS Covid pass could not be verified- but the PLF was fine!
Bemused why it had not been accepted I resubmitted the “offending” document at 13:53 and I’m still waiting!
How can the same document be accepted Day 1, have an expiry of 30 days and yet be declined 5 days later?
Anyone any thoughts at this bewildering saga?I have trouble with this each time I try. On way out I ended up with “invalid travel documents” when I went to MMB, but at the airport easily resolved.
On way back now and this time no confirmation yet from BA, so can’t check in. Will see what’s the status when I wake up.I just came back from Athens and BA do t use verifly to Greece and they would not allow me to check in on line I had to present myself to the checkin desk all she asked me for was my UK PLF no scanning took place just a quick glance then processed my boarding card and told me where the lounge was.
I’m sure it will be different next few day or weeks. Pot luck really 😀
