Good morning. My first statement was over a calendar month ago. I am near my credit limit and wish to pay it off so I can use it more. Any experience off not receiving Avios for extra purchases made like this? Many thanks in advance for any experiences.
Not sure situation with Barclaycard- I know with Virgin you can only earn points on spend up to your credit limit each month (some people on here reported being given very low lines and so were very frustrated).
All you can do is give it a try and see if it works (& report back on here!)
I was also wondering the same thing. Having a similar issue.
Also it says I’ve spent 442 towards my 3k spend in 3 months even though I’ve spent over 900quid. Anyone had an issue with it not tracking?Paid off a chunk both months as limit much lower than Amex and have been directing spend to Barckays.
Continued to earn Avios after paying off.
You can pay off any Barclaycard mid-cycle and continue to earn rewards.
It’s just the Virgin Atlantic cards that limit you based on your credit limit.
If you pay some of the balance off via debt card it becomes available 2 hours later for spending again. I continue to earn Avios doing this.
