Hi team, I am off to Washington in September 2023, I know Booking.com usually has a fluctuation in points awarded per £ at the moment it is 8 points per £, do you know if it tends to go up at any time of the year? I can vaguely remember it being 12 points per £ at one point but I can’t remember when, any guesses?
I’ve been continuously booking hotels through there since April and it’s been 8 avios/£ since then. Don’t remember it being higher than that before then.
There is an offer for hotels.com at the moment for 12 avios /£ through the e-store. But you have to be logged out of your hotels.com account when booking else you get 4 avios/£ (but also stamps towards a free night)
I haven’t seen better than 8 per £1 for awhile. In any event if you book with a free cancellation, you can always cancel and rebook if the avios rate goes up.
