I can see that it is connected to the MRT but am still wondering about the shower situation!

The IC is directly linked to Bugis MRT via the Bugis Junction mall. It’s not the most obvious path though (although you’ll figure it out after a couple trips). Bear in mind that the Hotel sits on quite a few bus routes too. The bus stops are a stone’s throw away so often quicker end-to-end than going down to the MRT.
