Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Radisson Rewards Which are the ‘must stay’ Radisson Rewards hotels?

Talking to my wife after a lovely stay at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge about how to maximise our Radisson Rewards VIP status. Are there any Radisson Rewards hotels which are outstanding, unique or just really worth a stay? The Radisson in Venice looks lovely. We were quite taken in by the advert for the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula we saw in the Park Plaza. Suggestions and ideas welcome.

Radisson Blu Jersey is great 🙂
Just back from there after a 4 night stay in their Panoramic Suite. Probably had 20+ stays there and always been decent.

Following this with interest. There have to be SOME hidden gems, though in my limited experience their hotels are faded, dusty and lacking in a sense of soul. Keen for HfP to prove me wrong!

Cape Town Waterfront has just had a top to toe fufurb.

The relatively new Venice hotel, originally designed as an InterCon, looks good but never seen a review.

    All Radisson Blu:
Larnaca (the hotel not the resort) is outstanding, for room quality, views, and food. And unlike most town centre hotels, has lots of parking – my brother who lives in Cyprus was very impressed.
Stockholm – both the Waterfront and Viking, near the Central Station, have excellent views of the water, are really convenient
Oslo – both the Scandinavia (by the Palace) and the Plaza (by the station) are classic ex-SAS hotels and have rooftop bars and excellent service
Hamburg – maybe not your city break of choice, but again an excellent location, great views, and a very happy stay there

    and Park Inn:
Berlin Alexanderplatz is a landmark hotel with great views from high floors, though some may not like the “showers in the room” despite the frosted glass!

Radisson Collection Copenhagen is very nice – especially if you get upgraded from a basic single room to a huge suite like I did. Great location, great views, great breakfast.

I really liked the Salzburg one. It’s probably overdue a refurbishment but had character.

I’m currently 7 nights away from retaining VIP so looking for bargain suggestions

The Radisson Collection Edinburgh was very nice, but been closed for refurbishment for so long that I don’t know what’s going on 🙁

The Radisson Red in Madrid was a stylish, modern hotel when I stayed a couple of years ago. Decent location, too. Not a ‘destination’ hotel in itself, but would happily stay again if visiting Madrid.

The good Larnaca hotel is the one in the town, with the rooftop pool, near the port? Not the beach resort?

Radisson Collection Astorija Vilnius is abeautifully restored old building (the spa has not been refurbished though). In general Collection ones are very nice.
