I’ve got an offer on my BA Amex of spend £50 on Which? Magazine, receive 5,000 bonus Avios. That seems quite a good deal to buy Avios to me, even if you don’t bother reading the magazine. Any thoughts?
Once you get the magazine it’s yours to do with what you will.
It would normally cost ~ £100 to buy 5k avios so yes it’s a relative good deal
I had a quick look and the cheapest subscription which meets the minimum spend seemed to be £79 not so as great as it looks. Even if you could get it for £50, unless you want to read the magazine (which I think you can access online free anyway in a library?), it’s still marginally cheaper to boost.
I’ve generally had Which offers stack quite nicely with certain c4sh b4ck sites.
Thanks all, very helpful and good food for thought!
Check topcashback. Last year between cashback and Amex offer I got paid to sign up
Which? Amex Statement Credits and TCB have always stacked well for me.
@rob_f_1 5k is £46 with Avios boost. But if you like the mag then its good deal.
Update: having checked TopCashback, you can combine this as suggested and get the following deal:
Subscribe to a Which? Magazine Full Access Annual GIFT Subscription (ie you gift the subscription to a friend/parter, NOT: a personal subscription for yourself) via TopCashack for £79
You then get £30 cash back, meaning total spend of £49 which qualifies for 5,000 Avios bonus and a year of Which Magazine.
