Who do I claim missing points from?

I am BA Gold, and had a BA ticket flying from London – Dublin – London – Miami. The London Dublin London leg was operated by Aer Lingus. Due to a delay, I missed the connection in London with BA. Aer Lingus, then rebooked me onto a Virgin Flight. Neither my BA account or my Virgin account has been updated with the points. Virgin says the ticket was not in my name, and therefore cannot be credited. BA says they werent the cause of the delay, so not their problem. Any guidance is appreciated.
