Hey,
A bit last minute. I was wondering who bought Virgin Atlantic points for the 70% bonus and your main reasons/strategy?
I was thinking of taking them up on the offer since I have 1x “2 for 1 voucher” that I need to redeem by September 2023..
Currently I’m sitting on around 16k points.. So I wouldn’t mind a quick top up.. However I don’t have any firm destination in mind yet.. I was hoping Virgin joining SkyTeam would open up a new route with the vouchers but who knows what will happen next year..
Vouchers currently only work for VS metal. Would be great if they could be used for SkyTeam members but somehow I am not hopeful.
Yes, to redeem for a virgin cruise. Works out at around £1k for a week cruise for two people when the cash price is $4500.
Best use of points is a cruise. No tax.
Ive got a cc voucher too which expires November. Might use for two PE plus 50k points. But not fussed on destinations. Might let it expire.
