We are due to fly to VLC in October and I’ve realised that England may be playing rugby (if we get out group stage)Do all short hall flights have wifi now.
If so how good are they at streaming and will ITV work or will some kind of territory restrictions apply.
Quite a few of the A319s and some of the A320s do not have it. It’s also not especially reliable that it’ll be working in my experience
When it does work it’s reasonably fast but I couldn’t access NOW TV this week as it said I wasn’t in the correct location
You may be able to use a VPN to get around the geo-location restriction issues that @SamG describes but I think the other point about speed would also be a major concern, particularly via a VPN. Don’t worry though, I expect England will get knocked-out in the group stages 😉
Yes – I did try via a VPN but then it was unusable speed wise. (& a lot of streaming doesn’t work via VPN or via certain servers these days, have to trial it before you go perhaps to find one that does).
At which point I gave up. I wanted to watch the final episode of Succession but didn’t realise because I’d started it more than 48hrs prior the download got deleted ! Though having watched it last night, can’t say I needed to have worried so much….)
