Will Alaska Air interline my bags onto BA when I travel from Calgary to Seattle?

I am travelling back from Calgary to London via Seattle. The calagry-seattle trip is on a separate booking with Alaska Air (Avios redemption) arriving at 16:20 into Seattle. My Seattle -London flight is on BA (CW) at 20:00. Am slightly nervous about the time if I have to collect my bags at Seattle and then recheck in for the next flight. I will pre clear US immigration at Calgary. Has anyone had any luck with interlining bags between Alaska Air and BA?
No personal experience but I doubt it on seperate tickets although it’s always worth asking as the agent may be feeling generous.
Can’t see 3 hrs 40 mins being a problem to collect bags and recheck at the CW desk in SEA. I doubt they’d even open the checkin desks until 5pm.

They won’t interline, but always worth asking. On the time front, don’t worry as this is plenty of time for Seattle – you’ll have more than enough time to ‘enjoy’ the comedy ‘alcohol window’ in the lounge, if that’s your thing…
