Due to my incompetence I’d forgotten I had a BA Barclays eVoucher which expires at the end of the year. A couple of weeks ago I booked reward flights for November and unfortunately I won’t be able to fly again before the end of the year. My only hope, I think, is for BA to let me apply the eVoucher retrospectively to the existing booking. I could phone and ask of course but not all Customer Services staff may know the answer or be flexible (if allowed). I thought I’d ask here first in case anyone has had a similar problem or advice. To be honest I don’t hold out much hope that BA will allow it and the lesson for me is in ghuture to keep a proper record!
There is no mechanism to allow them to do that I’m afraid. If there are still reward seats available and you have enough avios you could make a new booking then cancel the existing one for limited cost. If you don’t have the avios, cancelling first then rebooking obviously comes with a risk someone else might sneak in before the refund gets processed.
What @AndrewT said with the addition that having only booked a November flight recently, there is a very good chance that the seats will not have come from the original T-355 allocation and might not go back into inventory.
@Barraclough can you tell me how to view my evouchers on the BAEC page ?
