Being such a savvy, well-informed and tasteful bunch of travellers, I’m interested in knowing what your top 3 ever holiday destinations and why, together with whether they were a redemption booking or not. Mine are (All Avios 241s)
1. Australia. Unique. Great sights. Great people.
2. Mauritius. Like the Caribbean but more to see and do plus everything works. Great food too.
3. Sri Lanka. Lovely people, loads to see and do. Hardly anyone smokes.1 Quirkiest Funafuti -AA miles from Fiji
2. Best CanyonLands Even got a ticket to walk to The Wave AA miles.
3. Cuba- Stayed in Homestays, very friendly people. Virgin FF IIRc
sadly my top 2 are no longer safe
1- Jerusalem & Petra – I’m an atheist but Jerusalem is pure History
2- Srinagar – Houseboat on the dal lake – pure relaxation
3- road trip Galveston – New Orleans in a Mustang convertible
