I’m confused by this post; does BA have flights from LGW to Doha?

If you are nit chasing status or redeeming a reward you might want to check out alternatives. Pre-pandemic AF were typically under £1000 in PY. Tgeir PY used to be hard shell with the pris and cons of that, but they may now have been refitted to more conventional PY. At prices of PY these days I’d check for promo business fares to BKK abd if that works I take that abd do a walk up farevon next Air Asia or Scoot departure on arrival. You’d pay more for the LCC that way, but it would still be reasonable and no worries about missed connections.
