Double Avios (1,000 per stay) with Small Luxury Hotels of the World

Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the marketing group behind a number of leading global boutique hotels, is offering a decent deal for stays until the end of February 2015.

As long as you book by April 13th, you will receive 1,000 Avios points for your stay.  This is double the standard rate of 500 Avios.

Full details can be found here.

You will need to join The Club, SLH’s loyalty scheme, in order to take advantage of this.  You will want to, though, as membership is free and you receive a free upgrade (subject to availability) on your first stay.

Ensure that your British Airways Executive Club membership number is in your ‘The Club’ profile.  You will not be able to receive Avios points by presenting your membership card at the hotel itself.

If you are an American Express Platinum cardholder, you can join The Club at the ‘Loved’ level.  This gets you free breakfast for two people on your first stay.  The sign-up page is here.  There are also ’3 for 2′ deals available at some properties for Platinum cardholders – that link has more details.

If you are not an Amex Platinum cardholder, you will be promoted to ‘Loved’ status after your first stay and receive an upgrade AND free breakfast from them on.

Do 5 stays and you will receive a free reward night along with other benefits (late check-in and check-out, priority for upgrades), with extra reward nights every further 5 stays you complete.
