Were you targeted for 1,000 Shangri-La Golden Circle hotel bonus points?

If you have a Shangri-La Golden Circle account, you probably got an email on Thursday offering you 1,000 bonus Golden Circle points.
This offer is surprisingly generous. 1,000 Golden Circle points is enough for a $100 food and drink voucher for any Shangri-La hotel, including The Shard in London from August.
(The bonus is targetted, so if you didn’t get the email you can’t take part.)
To receive the bonus, you only need to stay one night at any Shangri-La, Traders or Kerry property before 30th September.
You could easily pay little more than $100 for your room. I tried a few random properties – Traders Beijing is £72 on September 5th, the Shangri-La in Kuala Lumpur is £76 for the same night etc.
This promotion would probably double-up with the other Shangri-La offers I mentioned in this post.
If you are heading to Asia this Summer and you got this offer, I might be tempted to move at least one night into a Shangri-La family hotel.
