Possible bargains to be had in the Luxury Travel Diary charity auction

An interesting charity auction caught my eye over at Luxury Travel Diary. It is possibly the biggest and broadest travel auction that I have seen outside of the mainstream press – and because this is being run by a more modestly sized site, your chance of a bargain is better.
All proceeds from the auction are being split between UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and Julia’s House, a hospice close to the author in Dorset.
The range of items is huge. There is a private jet trip between New York and California (currently at £1,150) sitting directly above a candle and an iPad cover (£7.50).
There are stays available at hotels and resorts all over the world, and some of them are currently not attracting any bidding interest despite being very valuable. Two nights in a Junior Suite at the Old Bahama Bay resort in the Bahamas is currently at £5. On the other hand, a night at the new Park Hyatt in Vienna (above) is close to its true value.
The best thing to is pop over to Luxury Travel Diary and take a look. The auction lots do not close until March so you have plenty of time.
