Get 500 free Hilton HHonors points for 30 seconds work, potentially

Hilton HHonors has its own online shopping mall, similar to the British Airways Gate 365 store.  This allows you to earn Hilton points whilst shopping at participating retailers.

Hilton is currently offering 500 Hilton HHonors points if you log in for the first time.

That is it.  You don’t need to buy anything – simply log in.

The only reason I added ‘potentially’ to the headline is that there is a chance that this offer is restricted to US residents.  There is no evidence of this but, as I cannot find the terms and conditions, we can’t be sure.

The offer is also restricted to the first 10,000 applicants and there is no guarantee that Hilton will remove the ad for this offer quickly if the target has been reached.

Given how quickly you can register, however, it is still worth doing regardless.  If they don’t post then you haven’t lost anything.

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards (May 2025)

There are various ways of earning Hilton Honors points from UK credit and debit cards.  Many cards also have generous sign-up bonuses.

There are two dedicated Hilton Honors debit cards. These are especially attractive when spending abroad due to the 0% or 0.5% FX fee, depending on card.

You also receive FREE Hilton Honors status for as long as you hold the debit cards – Gold status with the Plus card and Silver status with the basic card. This is a great reason to apply even if you rarely use it.

We reviewed the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card here and the Hilton Honors Debit Card here.

You can apply for either card here.

Didn’t work for me – told me this offer wasn’t available in my region. Worth a try anyway.

    • Alan says:

Interesting, worked fine for me a couple of days ago – no points posted yet, but I don’t think that’s happened for anyone so far.

  • Dave Barron says:

Yeah I spotted this over the weekend and logged in. No points yet but worth a try for the time it takes. Knowing Hilton it may take a week or two to credit (if at all!) Thanks Rob

  • PJK says:

Sadly I also got the message “We apologize but the selected online shop is not available in our offering.”

    • TimS says:

The promo is on the Hhonors mall though, not a specific retailer. The fact the link takes you to the US Apple Store shouldn’t matter.

If you get the Mall welcome email I would assume it has worked fine.

  • Think Square says:

I’ve just logged in successfully, and it seems to be fully open for Brits (it’s showing offers for Screwfix, Boots and M&S in “points/GBP”)

    • Alan says:

Yes, that’s what I saw too when I did it at the weekend – even though I was signing in from Australia! I was guessing they picked it up from the address in your account, although don’t know why it is only working or some of us.

  • vol says:

same – didn’t work in my region

Maybe use a ‘hide my IP address’ site such as hola & pretend you’re in USA?

People have said you’re better off uninstalling hola afterwards.

  • Danksy says:

Allowed me and her indoors to signup ok
