Win a return luxury London airport transfer with REAL Transfers

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Thanks to luxury transfer company REAL Transfers, we are running a special giveaway today which will last for just 18 hours.

Between now and midnight, you can win a return Mercedes E-Class transfer from anywhere inside the M25 to Heathrow or Gatwick.

The car can carry up to three people and up to three pieces of luggage.

Real Transfers

We ran competitions with REAL back in May 2015 and December 2015 and there were very popular. We bumped into their CEO at World Travel Market last month and he was keen to repeat it. The timing is hopefully right for anyone planning a Christmas getaway from Heathrow or Gatwick.

If you don’t win this competition and are joining us for our Christmas party on 6th December, there is another chance of winning a transfer in our raffle on the night.

About REAL Transfers

As one of London’s premier taxi and luxury car transfer providers REAL is proud of its reputation for delivering high quality service and great value for money.

REAL is a leading airport car provider specialising in Heathrow and Gatwick Airport Transfers, as well as taxis and luxury cars to or from London City, Stansted and Luton airports. They also offer private car and luxury taxi transfers to the Southampton, Dover, Tilbury and Portsmouth Cruise Terminals.

REAL is also leading the way in car transfers to and from the UK’s major sporting and entertainment events. This last year has seen REAL team up with some of UK’s foremost sports and entertainment agencies to manage over a hundred individual transfers to and from events for sports stars, movie stars and VIP guests, notably working with Formula One World to support them during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

In addition, REAL provide a wide range of ground transportation solutions, including ‘As Directed’ services, luxury wedding cars and transport to destinations across the UK.

If you are interested in giving them a try, REAL is currently running a promotion which offers a free guaranteed upgrade from a standard car to a Mercedes E-Class or equivalent. Simply enter code RTLUXHP on the REAL Transfers website.

How to enter

The competition will run for just 18 hours and closes at midnight tonight. I will draw a winner tomorrow morning and pass on their details to REAL Transfers.

You must be a UK resident to enter. Logically, you want to live inside the M25 as the prize is a return transfer from anywhere inside the M25 to either Heathrow or Gatwick!

We are using the same automated entry software that we used for other recent competitions.

You are allowed one entry per person and all you need to do is complete your email address in the form below.

Your details remain private – they will not be shared with REAL Transfers and will not be used by Head for Points for any other purpose.

The rules

You can see the detailed rules by clicking on ‘Terms and Conditions’ in the entry widget. In summary:

You must be at least 18 years old

You must be a resident of the UK and have a UK postal address. If you are currently outside the UK you will not be able to enter – you will need to email the link to a friend who is in the country.

Entries are limited to one per household

The competition closes at midnight, London time, on Friday 2nd December

If you cannot see the entry widget below, please click here and you will be directed to a special website to enter.

Good luck. The winner will be notified within 48 hours of the competition closing.

  • Neil says:

Is there a time limit within which this free trip has to be taken?

  • Greenpen says:

I still cannot enter these competitions! When I enter my email and name it tells me that the email has already been used to log into Gleam and that I should use my linked Twitter account. I do not have a Twitter account. Result, unable to enter!

    • Jon says:

Same. Gleam truly is a terrible system. I’m surprised Rob continues to use it.

    • Jon says:

Although I’ve signed up for twitter now. Which seems to have solved it.

I suspect it’s just trying to ‘gleam’ all our personal details in to some large database.

  • Vivian says:

Is it possible to use it on transfer from Heathrow to central London?

    • Rob says:

It is a return transfer, so if you only wanted to use it one way (or from Heathrow and then back to Heathrow later on) then that would be fine.

    OT but need some help
my husband has had the amex gold for about few weeks.
We’ve used it on normal purchases and a couple of hotel stays which were refundable, booked them because we were unsure of dates.
He had paid the balance off but on a recent hotel booking, the card kept showing error.
Called amex, they couldn’t help. Called the next day they said they will go through security checks lasting max 72 hours.
Called today and have been told ‘facility has been withdrawn’, couldn’t give any more info but she said you can write to amex.
The app shows card has been cancelled.
    Anyone know what’s going on?
    Thanks

    • Genghis says:

I guess only Amex know. Write to them to ask what’s happened. Were the hotel stays paid and then refunded to the card? How large were the amounts?

  • Kathy says:

Very OT: is it possible to use Avios to book Cathay Pacific from HKG to AKL, does anyone know? They definitely fly that route but it doesn’t come up on BA.com and it looks like they also have a code-share with Air New Zealand.

    • Rob says:

If it is a codeshare then No.

      • Kathy says:

The funny thing is you can book from AKL to HKG but not the other way around!!

I had a survey from BA the other day asking if I thought the Avios scheme was straightforward to use. Ha!!

  • Colin says:

There doesn’t seem to be any place to enter the RTLUXHP promo code on their website. Am I missing something?

    • Hamish says:

Enter the details of your journey, click ‘Get Quote’, then choose the Upgrade Option – when you get asked for all your details, enter the promo code at the bottom of the page and the price will be reduced.

  • signol says:

I live in Norwich, but I assume I’d be able to use it from Liverpool St (or Stratford) stations for example? Thanks!

  • Jayden says:

    Hi guys

    Wanting a bit of advice!
I have been building up my points and I am going to be returning back to my homeland in Australia in July of next year. I have hit my bonus on the Gold card and want to cancel it ASAP so I can recycle it one more time before I go home to build up my points balance. I am aiming to use points for business class at least part or all of the way of my one way flight. What is the best place to transfer my AMEX points to so I can cancel with this in mind? Many thanks.
