Air Europa is to launch an Iguazu service in 2019.

Iguazu in Argentina has always attracted tourists looking for something off the beaten track, primarily due to the amazing Iguazu Falls, the largest waterfalls in the world.

From June 2019, Air Europa will become the first European carrier to operate to the city.  It will fly Madrid – Iguazu – Montevideo – Madrid route once a week, with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Whilst you may not have heard of Air Europa, which is based in Mallorca, it is a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance which means this is a potential redemption option for Delta SkyMiles, KLM / Air France Flying Blue etc.
