More Amazon Prime Day offers – £8 bonus on £80 gift card, £10 voucher for an Audible free trial

Apologies for dropping in two additional non-travel deals today, but I know these Amazon deals are popular with readers.  We also make a small cut on sales via the links below which helps keep us ticking over at no extra cost to you.

The first offer is an £8 bonus when you top up your Amazon account with £80.

This offer is only available to a limited number of people.  Last year it hit the target early and we ended up deleting it from our article, so don’t expect it to last until the end of Prime Day on Tuesday evening.

You MUST register for the £8 top-up deal by visiting this page of Amazon and clicking ‘Click to register for the top-up reward’.  This guarantees that you get your £8 as long as you top up before the deadline.

The second offer is with Audible, Amazon’s audiobook service.

If you register for a 30-day free trial, you will receive a £10 Amazon gift voucher AND two free audio books.

Here are the details.  If you don’t see the offer, and are logged in to your Prime account, it is because you do not quality as an existing or previous Audible subscriber.  Here are the terms and conditions.

You will get a £10 Amazon voucher, valid for 365 days on products sold and despatched by Amazon UK, if you sign up before midnight on Tuesday 16th July.

How it works

From reader feedback in the comments below, it seems that the £10 credit is available immediately.  You do not receive a voucher.  The credit is sitting on your Amazon account and will automatically be applied to your next qualifying order of products ‘sold and despatched’ by Amazon UK.  You can then cancel the free trial – you will remain a member for 30 days so you can still download two free audiobooks if you wish.

Another reader wrote: “I just registered for the free trial, bought something with the £10 credit, and cancelled the Audible trial in under five minutes.”

Remember to cancel Audible within the 30 days unless you want your membership to roll over at £7.99 per month.  You can sign up for Audible here.

Also (targeted) £5 voucher for watching 10 mins of Amazon Prime content.

Just let it run in a separate tab in the background.

Between the Morrisson’s deals (on HfX and NextJump layering to 20%) and this one, my Amazon account is quite well funded!

Just need to find time to browse the Prime Day sales…

  • Graham Walsh says:

Thanks for the £8 tip, unable to see the Audible offer, must have used it in the past

    • poida says:

I think they’ve taken it away, can’t even find it on google. I’ve never had Audible before and signed up but no £10 credit…

  • CherylD says:

I’ve also applied for the audible account.via the HFP link
I’ve received an email from audible but it would only appear to offer 1 free book
I’ve also added items sold and supplied by Amazon to my basket and proceeded as far as the checkout with no voucher showing.
There was no mention of the £10 voucher on the linked page when I joined either.
    Any advice please?

    • Rob says:

If it did not show on the Audible sign up page then you do not qualify. This is because you have had an Audible free trial at some point in the past.

Sign out of Amazon, go into ‘private browing’ and vist the Audible page again – you will see that it loads a totally different page now (but you still can’t sign up, because your Prime account knows you’ve had Audible before and you need to sign into Prime to do this).

  • Cheryl D says:

Thanks for your reply Rob, I’ve done as you suggested
The page that loads says as a prime member you receive two free books. I can’t remember if this is the same page I had originally. There is still no mention of the £10 voucher. Should there be?
I have certainly never used audible to download a book and have no recollection of ever signing up for a trial to get a voucher offer before but can’t be 100% certain. However the link page did allow me to sign up which should indicate I’m éligible shouldn’t it? Or do Audible allow a second free trial after a certain period of time ?

    • Rob says:

It looks like they have pulled the £10 voucher. The link in my article for the T&Cs is dead.

      • CherylD says:

Yes it was dead when I first tried to look. Obviously just a bit too late
