Hyatt luxury brands offering ‘3 for 2’ via Hyatt Prive agents – with extra benefits on top

Hyatt has extended its generous ‘3 for 2’ deal, with a guaranteed upgrade and free breakfast, which it has been running across its core mid-market and upmarket brands:
- Alila
- Andaz
- Park Hyatt
- Hyatt Centric
- Destination Hotels
- Grand Hyatt
- Unbound Collection
- Hyatt Regency
- Thompson
- Joie De Vivre
- Miraval
Here are the new key dates:
You must book by 31st December 2020 (was 30th September 2020)
You must stay by 31st March 2021
The price you pay is identical to the Best Flexible Rate on the Hyatt website
In addition, all stays booked under this offer can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours before arrival.
You MUST book via a Hyatt Prive travel agent to get this deal
The only catch is that this offer can only be booked by a luxury travel agent who is part of the Hyatt Prive programme.
Hyatt Prive gets you the following benefits – at no additional cost, compared to the usual Best Flexible Rate – for stays at:
- all Park Hyatt hotels
- all Andaz hotels
- some Grand Hyatt hotels
- some Hyatt Regency hotels
- some hotels in The Unbound Collection
You get:
- $100 property credit per room per stay ($50 or $75 at some cheaper Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency hotels)
- One category room upgrade confirmed within 24 hours of booking
- Daily full breakfast for two
- Early check-in (from 9am) and late check-out (to 4pm) subject to availability
- Welcome gift and letter
Clearly, if you would otherwise book an Advanced Purchase rate, then you are paying a small premium to lock in these benefits. The free breakfast, upgrade and $100 hotel credit should easily put you into ‘profit’ though on the price difference. If you would usually book a flexible rate, these extra benefits are genuinely free.
The real value here is from the guaranteed upgrade. If you want a specific room category, you can book a cheaper one, one category lower. The guaranteed upgrade to the room you actually want should clear within 24 hours. If it doesn’t, for any reason, you simply cancel the booking.
Note that a two-night minimum stay is required at Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and The Unbound Collection to get Hyatt Prive benefits. Park Hyatt and Andaz only require a one-night stay. This isn’t an issue for the ‘3 for 2’ promotion, of course, as you will be staying three nights anyway.
Hyatt Prive rates will earn points and stay credit in World of Hyatt. A new World of Hyatt ‘triple points’ offer has just launched which we will cover tomorrow – you can see details online here. Remember that we value World of Hyatt points at 1.1p each.
If you want to make a booking under the ‘3 for 2’ offer, Emyr Thomas of Bon Vivant, who we partner with, is a Hyatt Prive agent. You can drop him a note via the form here. Emyr has worked with us for a couple of years and readers have booked well over £1 million of rooms through him. I also use him for my personal travel when I can.
