You can get 10% off bookings made until 6th December (inclusive) by using the promo code ‘CYBERSALE’. You’ll also get free cancellation.
The code is valid for stays until the end of 2021. There is a landing page for the offer on the Melia website here.
Remember that if you have American Express Platinum you can join MeliaRewards at Gold level for extra benefits.
…. plus double Avios on stays
Melia is currently running a promotion that will let you earn double Avios on stays until 31st March 2021.
The offer is on the Melia / BA partner page here.
To trigger the offer you must be a MeliaRewards member and select British Airways as your preferred partner before making your booking. It looks like all brands are participating.
All bookings until 31st December for stays until 31st March are eligible for the promotion.
Avios will automatically credit to your account ten days after check out. The base rate of 3 Avios per €1 will be doubled to 6 Avios per €1.
You can see more on the Melia site here.
PS. Before you book for cash, check out the special Amazon deal for buying MeliaRewards points. I was looking at the new Zaha Hadid-designed ME Dubai hotel, for example, and whilst cash rates were £220 the equivalent number of points would cost £75 under this offer.
