We have teamed up with Priority Pass, the lounge membership program, to give away Standard Plus annual memberships to five lucky Head for Points readers.

Priority Pass is a global airport lounge programme which allows you to access over 1,300 lounge and airport experiences, such as restaurants and sleep pods, across the world, irrespective of your airline status or ticket type.

Priority Pass is currently offering steep discounts on its Standard and Standard Plus memberships until 31st August:

  • £34 (normally £69) to join the ‘pay as you go’ Standard plan – you are charged £20 per lounge visit
  • £122 (normally £189) for the ’10 visits included’ Standard Plus plan, with guests or additional visits costing £20

These represent savings of up to 50% and are the biggest discounts Priority Pass has ever offered, including previous Black Friday sales.

You can get the special Priority Pass pricing here.

Win lounge memberships with Head for Points!

You can win one of five Standard Plus memberships via the Head for Points Instagram page.

Each membership allows you to make 10 free lounge visits without any further payment.

After your 10 free lounge visits, any further visits cost just £20.

Lounge passes are valid for access to the lounge and standard amenities. Additional items, such as premium alcohol, may be chargeable.

After using your free Preferred Rewards Gold Amex lounge pass aren’t all other visits changed at £20 for you and a partner, or have I got that completely wrong?

  • BJ says:

How come prizes in competitions here and elsewhere are normally nontransferable? I don’t get the big deal about this. Not entering this one as I would be very unlikely to get value from it whilst many others could, but it’s disappointing we cannot enter competitions and gift any winnings to another if we wish. Good to see competitions returning to HfP in notable numbers with decent prizes.

    • Rob says:

If the prizes were transferable then people could enter 50 times using different names and say they wanted the prize gifting to person behind all 50 entries ….

      • BJ says:

Thanks. I might take some liberties with the loyalty game but the thought of doing that in competitions wouldn’t even cross my mind.

  • Pawel says:

Priority Pass is useless at LHR T2 now and in future it will not change…

    • Rob says:

Not true – with a standard PP, like the one you can win here, you can get £15 credit in the new bar / restaurant that just opened. The Amex PP’s are useless, I admit.

  • ChrisW says:

Good luck using the passes! Lol.

  • IanM says:

How come instagram only, which I do not use and am not opening and account and passing my details to just for this competition.

    • AFKAE says:

      Same for me.

    • Danny says:

      You don’t have to enter.

      • CarpalTravel says:

That doesn’t answer the question though, does it.

I have to let many competitions pass on by (outside of HFP) simply because I don’t want or have a Facebook account.

        • Stu N says:

Instagram is a different demographic to Facebook so benefits in building following there. More Rhys’s age group than Rob’s.

Plus, HfP insta is not much short of 10k followers on Insta. Like/share/follow is classic way of building followers. Once above 10k followers you can put direct links in posts and a few other things accounts with fewer followers can’t do.

          Anything I’ve missed??? 😉

  • Yorkieflyer says:

What is this instogram of which you speak ?

    • Hbommie says:

I believe it’s very much like an Instant gramophone. Very popular with the younger crowd.

      • Tony1 says:

I shall ask my man to investigate. This new fangled stuff is quite extraordinary.

  • Vish says:

If I join PP using the standard plus for £122, do all my 10 free visits have to be made within 1 year of purchase?

  • stephen ward says:

Don’t do Instagram, shame you have restricted access to entry in this way!
