Marriott Moments are back at The O2, London and Old Trafford, Manchester

A few weeks ago, Marriott relaunched its Marriott Moments ‘experiences’ platform, although there were no UK events at that point.

After a while, a couple of concerts popped up at The O2 in London. No sooner had we written about them than they disappeared.

It turned out that the tickets had gone live by mistake. This also explains why the tickets were launched as an auction rather than the ‘buy it now’ format that is more usual with The O2.

Everything is now up and running again. The Moments website is here.

At The O2 in London you can buy:

  • Genesis on 12th October and 13th October (75,000 points for two tickets)
  • Erasure on 17th October (45,000 points for two tickets)

There are seven pairs of tickets for each concert.

The Marriott Bonvoy Suite at The O2 is impressive. Assuming the usual pre-covid set-up returns, there is a free hot buffet served before the concert and a free bar all night. I have been multiple times, and here is a review by Anika of how the Marriott Bonvoy suite works.

A picture of the suite is above. The only caveat is that it is a long way from the stage, so if you want to be close to the action – hard at The O2 – it isn’t the place for you. It’s better for casual fans who appreciate the ability to wander in and out of the suite at will during the evening.

Meanwhile, in Manchester ….

Tickets have been released for the first two Manchester United redemptions of the season.

These are being offered as an auction, unfortunately, so you can’t make firm plans just yet.

Each lot contains two tickets to watch the match from the private Marriott Hotels M Club lounge at Old Trafford, complete with complimentary food and drink.

You can currently bid for:

  • Manchester United v Everton on 2nd October (bids start at 40,000 points for two people)
  • Manchester United v Liverpool on 24th October (bids start at 50,000 points for two people)

There are seven pairs of tickets for each game.

I’m not sure why the minimum bids are different, given that they are very likely to be pushed higher during the course of the auction …..

The Moments website is here if you want to bid for the football or redeem for The O2.

Let the fun begin! I am in for 100k points but expect some American’s to spend 250,000 on these tickets due to the new bonus launched for them today in the US! Shame you just can’t buy them outright

    • Babyg says:

agreed (outright buy), ill wait for a Man U v Arsenal game, hopefully they go at facevalue (or they give you points)

      • Ken says:

Pretty easy to buy hospitality at Old Trafford at various price ranges.
I’d expect these kind of seats would be about £400 plus vat per head.
        It’s a massively slick operation.

  • Babyg says:

ps if don’t post the abu dhabi GP Marriott moments ill triple my HFP subscription payments for this year.

  • Fazzy Bear says:

Problem is I have got Amex points which I would need to convert to Marriott Bonvoy points – so if I don’t win the auction then it would mean I can’t convert them back.

  • Fazzy Bear says:

Extra game available as of today.
