Marriott has added some new events at the O2 in London to its Marriott Moments ‘experiences’ platform.

The Moments website is here.

This is what is available on a ‘buy it now’ basis:

  • Alice Cooper & The Cult on 25th May (60,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Bryan Adams on 26th May (75,000 Bonvoy points for two)
Marriott Bonvoy o2 suite
  • David Gray on 27th May (75,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Alan Partridge on 3rd June (60,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • The Script on 4th June (60,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Queen & Adam Lambert on 5th June, 8th June and 9th June (75,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Billie Eilish on 10th June, 11th June, 12th June, 16th June, 25th June and 26th June (75,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Alicia Keys on 13th June (75,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Barry Manilow on 19th June (60,000 Bonvoy points for two)
  • Diana Ross on 23rd June and 24th June (75,000 Bonvoy points for two)

There are six pairs of tickets for each concert.

The Marriott Bonvoy Suite at the O2 is impressive. Assuming the usual pre-covid set-up returns, there is a free hot buffet served before the concert and a free bar all night. I have been multiple times, and here is a review by Anika of how the Marriott Bonvoy suite works.

Note that the suite has recently moved. It is a little nearer to the stage, but you now have a side view rather than a direct view. If you want to be close to the action – hard at the O2 – it isn’t the place for you. It’s better for casual fans who appreciate the ability to wander in and out of the suite at will during the evening.

If you click here you bring up all of the London events on the Marriott Moments site.

  • Nick says:

We saw The Script at the O2 at the end of February 2020, which was one of the last gigs there before lockdown. There were around 12 people in total in the MB suite and we were impressed by the food, drink & great service, although some distance from the stage. Don’t know about the new location, but we may go again in June, especially as it’s on a Saturday, rather than midweek.

  • Nick says:

There’s also available now Manilow on the 19th June and Diana Ross on the 23rd & 24th June, as well as Billie Eilish again on the 25th & 26th June.

      • Genghis says:

There’s also some later dates for Queen. I’ve just got one. Thanks for heads up. I checked yesterday and they hadn’t been uploaded.

  • MadeUpName says:

I thought Queen had replaced Adam Lambert with Alan Partridge for a moment.

  • TimM says:

I was once in a Bangkok hotel where Caren Carpenter and Elvis appeared together on the stage of the in-house nightclub. I thought that was odd but (from the headline) Queen and Alan Partridge together is even weirder 🙂

  • Aziz says:

Thanks Rob. I now have a very happy wife who is off to see Alicia Keys. Four packages left at 7.22am.

  • Bosco1979 says:

I see they’ve also got an auction up for a trip to Legoland with Sean Connery and a lovely lamb lunch in the centre of Windsor afterwards.

  • mutley says:

Does anyone know whether they serve Directors bitter in the Bonvoy suite, and also with the buffet is it ok to bring your own plate?

    • MilesOnPoint says:

      Very well played 😂.

I hear Marriott do a special cocktail: lager with a gin & tonic and a Baileys chaser.

  • Jim bel says:

What would you value a ticket at a suite if they were for sale? (No idea – but would 120-180 per tix be directionally correct?)

    • Rob says:

£195 without food and drink is about right – there is a firm that sells them for this – so probably about £250 all in. If you wanted to entertain a group of clients for the night with an exclusive hire of a box it would be higher.

    • Chris says:

The prices for the o2 suite that sells it’s tickets individually (without any food or drink included) are, per person:

      31 May-3 June – Alan Partridge Live – £125
      4 June – The Script – £115
      1-20 June – Queen + Adam Lambert – £195
      13 June – Alicia Keys – £145
      19 June – Barry Manilow – £95
      23-24 June – Diana Ross – £295
      28-29 June – Alanis Morissette – £165

All of the Marriott Bonvoy packages are good value when you consider it includes 2 tickets in a box, with food & drinks included all evening.

Obviously some packages are better “value” than others for the underlying tickets but really what you enjoy watching or listening to will have more effect on perceived value at the end of your evening. It’s generally the case that the more expensive shows have bigger production values but that’s by no means a rule.
