American Express launches a £120 Qantas flight discount

If you are looking for flights to Australia, Qantas has launched a new cashback deal with American Express.
This coincides with the relaunch, earlier this month, of the 17 hour non-stop flight from London Heathrow to Perth.
The service had been operating to Darwin due to covid restrictions but has now switched back, a few weeks earlier than planned. Whilst loads were reportedly good, the Darwin route involved using Russian airspace and so now required an expensive diversion.
Remember that you will earn Avios and British Airways tier points on Qantas flights, although other options to Australia such as Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines do so too.
If you are targetted for the offer, it will appear on your account page on the Amex website or app. You need to click ‘Save to Card’ before purchasing.

- must book by 21st June
- flights must depart from the UK
