JetBlue delays the launch of its London to Boston flights

The launch dates for JetBlue’s flights between London and Boston have slipped.

The original plan was to launch on 19th July with one daily flight between London Gatwick and Boston Logan Airport.

Heathrow was due to follow from 22nd August.

JetBlue will launch its new London to Boston flights in August

This has now changed:

  • Gatwick flights will launch on 4th August
  • Heathrow flights will launch on 20th September

We are hoping to review JetBlue’s ‘Mint Suite’ business class seat at some point this year, to see how the airline has managed to deal with the challenges of fitting flat bed seats to a single aisle aircraft. Rob will also be reviewing Aer Lingus’s A321LR service to New York in a couple of months.

    6500 points for some discontinued Lego… That’s a BD present sorted 🤣

Just hold onto it for 12 months. As long as they don’t re-release it you might make a profit.

The number of nectar points to be earned should now show at 25x before you purchase the item. I’ve checked some auction items that are ending between 1200 and 1300 and they are showing at 25x, so it seems it’s not just Buy It Now items that qualify.

  • Ed says:

My payment screen showed the reassuring 25x the amount of points, but order confirmation email just has the base amount (1x). Same for others?

  • Rob says:

    100% not

Thanks Rob. In an uncertain world, we need the certainty of HfP!

I quite liked the AA A321 transcontinental layout, which managed both lie-flat First and lie-flat Business seats, plus about 3 rows of economy as they’d basically run out of room…

Maybe book Rhys on a BUD-LHR-JFK-LAX-HNL tier point run, then he can try it out on the JFK-LAX sector?

Hilton web portal only allowing me to buy 80,000 points plus bonus. Any ideas?

Use partners account and move across via Points Pooling?
