Flybe adds Bergerac flights from Birmingham

The ‘old’ Flybe, before it went into administration, had built up a decent niche in flying to those parts of France popular with British second-home owners.
I was surprised, given the historic popularity of these routes, that they were not relaunched more quickly. The airline is now dipping its toe into regional French waters.
A new route from Birmingham to Bergerac has just been added for Summer 2023.
Flights will start on 3rd June with two services per week, increasing to three per week from 25th July.
This adds to two routes already added, although we didn’t mention them at the time:
- Birmingham to Brest – launches 20th May
- Birmingham to Avignon – launches 20th May
