Competition updates: AirPod winners, Hilton last day, Barclaycard winners, new launch tomorrow

After a quiet few months we have been running a lot of competitions on the site in recent weeks – and we haven’t stopped yet! Here’s a quick update.

AirPod competition winners

Last weekend we ran a 48 hour giveaway to win a pair of Apple AirPod earphones in association with Qatar Duty Free.

This was to promote the fact that you can now use Avios to pay for (virtually) anything at Qatar Duty Free in Doha’s Hamad International Airport. In fact, we bought these AirPods at Qatar Duty Free (image below) when Rob was in Doha last month, paying with Avios generously donated by Qatar Privilege Club.

We can now announce the two winners of the competition:

Both have already been contacted and have accepted their prizes, so if you share the same name I’m afraid it isn’t you! I went down to the Post Office on Friday afternoon so hopefully they will be with you soon.

Last day to enter our Hilton Formula 1 competition

Update on our Barclaycard ‘Win 1 million Avios’ competition

We are currently in the middle of giving away a crazy FOUR MILLION AVIOS, to be shared between four people who apply for a Barclaycard Avios or Avios Plus Mastercard.

Round 3 closes next Sunday. The winner of Round 2 should have been picked by Barclaycard at the end of last week.

We had been hoping to announce the winner of Round 1 already, but Barclaycard has asked us to wait until the Avios have been deposited in the account of the winner. Apologies for the delay here, although I believe that winner of Round 1 HAS been contacted – if you didn’t hear, it wasn’t you, sorry.
