Earn 1,000 bonus Avios with Avis car rentals to 30th June

Avis has launched a decent bonus offer if you are planning to rent a car before the end of June.

There is only one snag – the offer is from Aer Lingus and not British Airways. This means that:

• you will need to have an Aer Lingus AerClub account to receive the Avios

• once you have them, you will need to use ‘Combine My Avios’ (this is how it works) to move them from AerClub to British Airways Executive Club

You will receive 1,000 bonus Avios with your rental. This is in addition to the usual Aer Lingus rate of 5 Avios per €1.

The rules are:

• you must rent a Group C car or above
• you must rent for 3+ days
• you must book by 31st May
• you must pick up your rental by 30th June
• you must either book at cars.aerlingus.com or add the relevant Aer Lingus CWD discount codes to your booking if made at avis.com

The offer is valid at ‘participating’ locations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. Some franchised outlets will not participate – this is likely to be the case in locations such as Jersey. Any booking from a mainstream international airport or city centre location should be fine.

The deal is not valid on Prestige, Van or Chauffeur Drive rentals.
