31st December is, unsurprisingly, the date that a lot of miles and points offers close.

I thought it was worth a quick reminder of the key ones which we have covered on the site in recent weeks.

I’ve split the list into two – deals you can actually jump on, and deals which realistically you can’t take advantage of with one day to go, but which are worth noting.

Deals you can still get until 31st December:

Deals worth noting but which you are unlikely to be able to take advantage of before Sunday night (unless you need a last minute hotel!):

Our regular ‘deals ending’ soon feature will return in mid-January.

My maths on this is: £589 minus about £14 minus £5.89 is about £570 for 150,000 points. £3.80 per 1,000. I’ll be able to make good use of those in 2024, when my diamond status ends, and I’ll go back to Hilton, who I am already using again more. I appreciate the ‘loss’ factor in not earning points. Helsinki airport, for example, is 16k points (£60.80) when the non-cancellable rate is £75 minus £7.50 minus a likely 2k points (£7.6) = £60.70. So even Steven, and the flexible rate (which I always book when paying cash) is about £25 more.
