‘Hilton for Business’ drops 2pm check-out benefit (after a week)

Last week we covered the launch of ‘Hilton for Business’, the new Hilton reward programme for small businesses.
I was pleasantly impressed by it. The scheme integrates perfectly with your Hilton Honors account (you don’t get a 2nd log-in) and offers a small but consistent saving on ‘Best Flexible Rate’ pricing.
You get 5,000 bonus Hilton Honors points for every 10 nights that your staff complete, and there is a 7,500 points bonus on your first booking.

Our original article said that ‘Hilton for Business’ bookings also came with a 2pm check-out. I thought this was generous, but it was there in black and white when you searched for ‘Hilton for Business’ rates.
And then …. it disappeared. There is no longer any mention of the 2pm benefit on the ‘Hilton for Business’ or when you make a booking:
Was it a mistake, or was this benefit added to the programme before it had been approved?
You can learn more about ‘Hilton for Business’, and sign up, here. It is still worth joining, even without a 2pm check-out.
