Lufthansa and SWISS have brought back their attractive flight deals to Dubai.

We covered these deals four weeks ago when the headline fare was £1,282. This has now dropped further to £1,126 from London – an exceptionally good deal for a UK departure.

You need to travel between May 2024 and March 2025 for the best availability and stay away for 6+ nights. Availability is generally good, although October and November are tight.

Cheap business class flights to Dubai

Remember that Lufthansa and/or SWISS fly from major UK regional airports so you don’t necessarily have to start your trip in London, although the fare may be a little higher. Whilst these are ‘Business Basic’ fares, they DO include lounge access.

You will be changing aircraft in Germany or Switzerland, depending on which airline you pick.

Cheap Dubai business class flights

For once, you WON’T beat this deal by starting outside the UK in Dublin, Amsterdam etc. When you remember that the price includes £200 of Air Passenger Duty, it’s remarkably low.

I believe the flights book into ‘P’ class, so be careful which Star Alliance frequent flyer programme you credit. wheretocredit.com can show you potential places to credit a ‘P’ class Lufthansa or SWISS flight.

You are paying in £, if you book a flight starting in the UK, so the best card to pay with is American Express Preferred Rewards Gold. This offers double points (2 per £1) on all airline spend. If you can find it cheaper from elsewhere in Europe, your best bet is one of the Virgin Atlantic Reward Mastercard cards – these have 0% FX fees in the Eurozone and earn Virgin Points.

You can play around with dates and pricing on the Lufthansa site here. The site is VERY good at helping you see which dates have the lowest pricing – a calendar will appear as soon as you’ve typed some random dates into the home page search box.

Hat-tip to Luxury Flight Club.

Really remarkable fares for such a long flight. For comparison BA’s LHR-MAD return prices in at around £1,112 some dates so Dubai for a long weekend may now be a viable option. And you’d get a proper business class.

Plus with flying overnight, you can do a Hilton day room booking for your day of arrival or indeed day of departure if needed. If you have status, the benefits apply – e.g. the Conrad Dubai day room time is 8am-6pm so plenty of time for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening snacks in the lounge.
