The Montcalm Marble Arch hotel has reopened following a two year renovation as Montcalm Mayfair. It is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
Despite the name, the hotel is NOT in Mayfair. It is very close to Hyatt Regency The Churchill to the north of Oxford Street.
It feels like a strong move upmarket for the hotel.

As well as a brasserie helmed by chef Akira Back (who Mandarin Oriental hired to run the restaurants at its new Mayfair hotel):
The new-look hotel comprises 151 guest rooms, including three new signature suites. In-room touches include Frette bed linens and bathroom amenities by British perfume house, Penhaligon’s. Studio Mica has also included bespoke wallpaper inside each of the wardrobes, featuring specially commissioned poetry hidden in the design. The hotel’s ‘crown jewel’ is its Botanical Suite, a ground-floor suite which comprises three bedrooms and boasts its own private streetside entrance.
The spa at Montcalm Mayfair is a subterranean space home to a plunge pool, wellness facilities and a fully-equipped fitness suite. There are four treatment rooms, including two suites for couples treatments, offering the likes of facials and massages which utilise all-natural spa products.
