Interesting that Five Guys are coming to T5, I thought (what was then) BAA banned certain cooking methods from the terminal to reduce fire risk. I recall reading when T5 opened that certain things in the Gordon Ramsay restaurant were limited (for example having to use oven chips). I’m pretty sure the CCR uses oven chips too.

The ban came about in the 90s when Burger King decided to flame grill Terminal 1. Has the ban on deep frying and other cooking methods with a risk of fire been lifted by HAL?
