Great Hilton for Business offer – 5,000 bonus points PER STAY, up to 15,000 points

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Hilton has launched a generous promotion for anyone who is a member of the ‘Hilton for Business’ scheme.

You will earn 5,000 bonus Hilton Honors points on your next three stays booked at a ‘Hilton for Business’ rate.

Since the ‘Hilton for Business’ rate is usually 2% cheaper than standard flex, semi-flex and non-refundable rates, it’s an easy offer to take up. Click here to register.

How does the offer work?

It’s simple enough, as long as you are in ‘Hilton for Business’ (which I will cover again below):

  • complete a stay (no minimum length) booked at one of the ‘Hilton for Business’ cash rates by 27th August
  • receive 5,000 bonus Hilton Honors points ‘6-8 weeks’ after your stay
  • repeat up to three times, for a maximum bonus of 15,000 Hilton Honors points
  • this bonus is on top of the current Hilton Honors promotion, worth 1,000 bonus points per stay

For clarity, the 15,000 points cap is per personal Hilton Honors account. Multiple employees linked to the same company account can each earn 15,000 bonus points.

How does ‘Hilton for Business’ work?

Here’s a reminder of how it works. There is a 7,500 Hilton Honors points bonus for the account head after the first stay which should stack with this promotion.

You can learn more about ‘Hilton for Business’, and sign up, here.

Hilton for Business 15000 bonus points

This is what you need to know:

  • when you sign up your small business, you are asked for your existing Hilton Honors account details. Your ‘Hilton for Business’ account is linked to this.
  • the only requirement for joining is that you have a business email address which you must verify by clicking a link in a test email sent to you. There is no requirement to provide a company registration or VAT number. You MUST have a unique email suffix (eg ‘headforpoints.com’ in our case). It is NOT essential that the address on the Hilton Honors account has this suffix.
  • once you have signed up, you receive a link to send to co-workers. By clicking the link, they can join your ‘Hilton for Business’ account and link it to their existing Hilton Honors account. Until 28th June, if you register here, the account head will receive 2,000 bonus points for every co-worker who joins – no stay required – up to 10,000 points.

That’s it!

Going forward, when you or your co-workers log in to the Hilton website, they will be given the choice of whether they want to see ‘Hilton for Business’ rates as well as standard rates.

This is what you see on hilton.com:

The guest receives their Hilton Honors points (including the 5,000 bonus points under this offer) and elite night credit as usual. This is important – the person who stays is not in any way worse off by using ‘Hilton for Business’.

On top of this, additional points are accumulated in the ‘Hilton for Business’ acccount:

  • 7,500 Hilton Honors points (worth £25 on our valuation) are earned after the first stay is made under the ‘Hilton for Business’ rate (first stay per account, not per person on the account)
  • 5,000 Hilton Honors points (worth £17 on our valuation) are earned for every 10 nights booked in aggregate by employees using the ‘Hilton for Business’ rate

The person who set up the ‘Hilton for Business’ account decides what to do with these points. You can transfer them to your own Hilton Honors account or you can transfer them to one of your registered employees.

Conclusion

If you are part of a ‘Hilton for Business’ account, this is an easy 15,000 bonus Hilton Honors points if you can complete three stays over the next three months.

You can register for the offer here.

Off topic question are you still planning to release tickets for the summer party soon? I live in Lisbon and planning to travel over for it

    • Rob says:

It’s a pain. The raffle prize is still winding its way through sign-off procedures with the provider and we are trying to wait until we can promote that alongside it.

However, if you are planning to fly in then we will guarantee you a ticket. Book whatever travel you need around Thursday 19th and email me re ticketing (rob@).

  • Martin says:

The Hilton for Business is so poorly implemented that I can’t find a way to register for this promotion despite already being a member. When I try to register, it says I am not a member of HfB, so I click through into my HfB account (there is no separate login you need to do) and there is a banner promoting the offer but if you follow that link it brings you back to my standard Hilton log in screen. Very frustrating!

    • Rob says:

Odd. Worked fine for me (as account holder) and my wife (as an employee) last night.

    • Andy says:

      Same problem here.

I could not disallow cookies (standard practice for me) and continue to register from my phone.

On my laptop I am stuck in a doom loop of logging in, being told I am not a member of Hilton for Business (despite having the same login) and being asked to register for Hilton for Business even though I am already signed into Hilton for Business in another tab.

It is shocking poor UX, which is pretty consistent with the service in many (but by no means all) of their hotels.

      • Chris says:

Yup, having all the exact same problems with cookie loop (which is familiar from previous offers – and lots of ‘page not found’ 404 errors etc. during sign-up process). Even doing it from my phone where I’m much happier to ruin my day by clearing all cache and cookies etc. had same issues.

I work in this field – it’s genuinely absurd that Hilton (and Virgin Atlantic!) have so many issues along these lines that could be avoided with any kind of competent QA procedures and user experience testing…

  • Mk says:

same as with Martin, total BS promotion by hilton again. not able to register as Hilton Business member. based in EU.

  • Nick says:

The registration link don’t work and it just keeps going in circles! Any ideas about how to correct?

    • Tom says:

Worked fine for me. There are two offers rolled up in this so maybe that’s the issue.

      • Alan says:

Yep it’s quite confusingly done, once you register for one the confirmation page says sign up but it’s for the other offer!

  • Dude says:

I recall many saying the same thing about being unable to register for the current 1000 points bonus.

  • Rob says:

I tried to join HfB a couple of months ago and was rejected for some reason but they didn’t give me a reason or reply to my emails. I’ve just tried again.

  • Rich says:

I managed to register fine for this on my laptop, was looping on my iPhone.

  • Martin says:

Just change browser if you are stuck in the loop about the cookies message..
