For your coffee table: ‘British Airways: 100 Years of Aviation Posters’ by Paul Jarvis

Head for Points is moving offices in two weeks, as WeWork closes at our current home of 1 Poultry. We won’t be heading far – just down the road to Eastcheap.

I mention this because we were discussing how to transit the two rare aviation posters that hang in our current office. The image below is one of them, picked up at AntikBar on Kings Road which always has a good selection.

If like us you are a fan of aviation posters, British Airways published a book a few years ago which is still available.

British Airways: 100 Years of Aviation Posters is a collection of 200 posters from the British Airways’ archives. It features posters from the early years until today (well, to the 2010s), giving an insight into how marketing and design has changed over the decades.
