Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Welcome to our regular round-up of the best hotel promotions currently running.

All of the information in this article can also be found on our ‘Hotel Offers’ page which contains details of all of the current offers, together with links to our major articles on each hotel scheme.

However, a positive response from readers – especially our 21,000 email subscribers – means we run this monthly article as a handy summary.

Be warned – it is a very thin selection this month!

Current American Express cashback offers

It’s worth noting the current American Express cashback offers with the big chains. These may be showing on one or more of your cards and may influence which hotels you book this month.

Offers with hotel groups:

  • Get £50 back on a £200 spend with selected Hilton Honors hotels across Asia Pacific (expires 15th September, book here)
  • Get 30% back on spend with selected WorldHotels, capped at £100 total, across the world (expires 15th October, read more here)

Offers with specific London hotels:

Where should you credit your stays for September 2025?

Remember that, irrespective of the offers below, there is never a single ‘best’ offer.

Some offers require multiple stays to maximise the bonus, which you might not do. Some require stays to be a minimum number of nights before a bonus is earned.

You need to factor in any elite status you have, which will earn you additional status bonuses.

More importantly you need to be able to use the points. There is no value in earning a large bonus in a scheme where you will never go on to earn enough points to get a free night.

Here are your options:

best hotel bonus point promotions

Hilton (Hampton, Conrad, Waldorf-Astoria etc)

Hilton is offering a one-off bonus of 750 Avios on your next cash stay by 30th September.

The Avios will be sent to a Qatar Airways Privilege Club account, but you can easily transfer them to The British Airways Club.

Registration is a bit of a faff so ensure that you read our article here.

You can register here.

It runs until 30th September. Existing bookings made before registration will count.

IHG One Rewards (InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Hotel Indigo etc)

IHG One Rewards is running a promotion across five brands.

The brands are Crowne Plaza, voco, Vignette, Candlewood Suites and Garner.  You will earn triple base points for stays at these brands until 30th September.

You can register here. Our full article is here.

Existing bookings made before registration will count. The IHG booking page is here.

Radisson Rewards current hotel promotion

Radisson Rewards (Radisson Blu / RED / Collection, Park Plaza, Park Inn, art’otel etc)

It’s rare that we feature Radisson Rewards in this round-up but it has launched a multi-brand promotion for the summer.

Radisson Rewards is offering 6,000 to 10,000 bonus points when you stay at two to four different brands by 26th September.

Importantly, only new bookings made after registration count.

We only value a Radisson Rewards point at between 0.15p and 0.2p so this is not a very generous offer. However, if you are doing the stays anyway, you should register.

You can register here. Our full article is here.

Existing bookings made before registration do NOT count. The Radisson booking page is here.

And finally ….

If you are booking a luxury hotel, remember that we can offer you exclusive additional benefits at Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula and similar hotels.

Click here for details of our luxury hotel booking service in association with Bon Vivant / Virtuoso.  Feedback from readers who have used this service so far has been excellent and we have booked over £2 million of rooms so far.

September Double Points from 2nd stay with IHG. Targetted?

  • Froggee says:

I was sad to have to tell Granny Froggee that her four week long stay at the Conrad Bali was not going to get her any bonus points. I felt that registering for the 750 Avios was both beneath and beyond her.

So I was delighted when she reported back that her account showed double base points on your next stay as well as a 3,000 bonus points on your next stay.

Given that she will be getting 50,000+ points from the first offer we agreed it would be best only to register for it just in case there was some sort of IT clash as unlikely as that seems.

So, the lesson folks is apparently check your personalised offers.

As taught to me by an 82 year old…

I think you could mention the Global hotel alliance offer of double discovery dollars, on bookings made in the app and taken before 30th September. GHA loyalty also has some nice London offers such as afternoon tea at the cafe royal without a stay.

    • Rob says:

Historically we restrict this article to the ‘big six’ schemes. GHA is still only 850 hotels vs 1,400 for Hyatt and DISCOVERY is not a ‘traditional’ loyalty scheme in that sense. The issue for us is where we draw the line – Melia? Preferred Hotels? WorldHotels? Wyndham? If GHA ever overtakes Hyatt I think we’d need to think more seriously about it.

  • Ruth says:

Thanks for letting me know Rob , I understand, I’m just so pleased with their offers at the moment. I’m happy to be deleted cheers from Ruth

Double points on Hyatt just landed in my inbox this evening, not sure if targeted?

“Find adventure in Europe, Africa and the Middle East
    EARN 2X POINTS, UP TO
    20,000
    BONUS POINTS
    on qualifying stays

Imagine Parisian getaways, Dubai-bound adventures, beachfront memories in Zanzibar‑made more rewarding with double the points.

After registering, World of Hyatt members can earn 2X points on qualifying stays completed between September 15 and December 1, 2025, at participating hotels in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.“

  • ee says:

Rob – under the Hilton 750 points offer there is a sentence which needs updating to end of Sept.

“ It runs until 30th August. Existing bookings made before registration will count.”

Thanks for the continuous stream of interesting content!
